Who are we?
Promotional Products Association of Wisconsin (PPAW) is a professional organization that provides our members with regionally focused professional development opportunities. Founded in 1988, we are one of 28 regional associations in the United States and Puerto Rico that encourage professional synergism and social camaraderie among our distributor and supplier members. We exist to serve the professional needs of our distributor and supplier members. Our efforts are devoted to enhancing member professionalism and promoting activities that strengthen and empower members through knowledge and growth. Our membership numbers nearly 400 companies that are involved in the promotional products industry in Wisconsin.
2010 PPAW RAC DELAGATE
PPAW is please to announce the appointment of Don Kenner as 2010 RAC delate. Don will be replacing Garth Huettl as our representative. In this new appointment, Don will be very active in creating awareness and direction for PPAW members in the legislative arena, most importantly, the proposed bill S301-Physicians Payments Sunshine Act.
PPAI Scholarship Announcement
PPEF Scholarship Deadline Approaching Promotional Products Educational Foundation (PPEF) will award $100,000 in 68 scholarships this year ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. The scholarships are open to promotional products professionals and their children. Deadline for the scholarships is March 15. Basic requirements are a 3.0 grade point average in high school or college. Scholarships include: 54 awards of a $1,000, one-year scholarship One award of the $1,000 Vincent J. Arena Scholarship One award of the $1,000 Friends of PPMN scholarship for industry professionals Ten awards of the $4,000 four-year scholarships ($1,000 per year) Two awards of the $5,000 Chairman’s scholarships ($2,500 per year for junior and senior years of college) To apply, go to www.ppef.us and look under the scholarship tab. 2010 New Board Members
